Q1) How can I become a member?
A1) Simply fill the on-line application form and you will be issued with an account number. You should write the number down immediately in a secure area. Your Globaldosh plastic will be despatched to you as soon as possible. Top

Q2) How soon can I use my account to shop?
A2) As soon as you top up your new account with Globaldosh top-up voucher or via any other method that may be available to you Top

Q3) Where can I get Globaldosh top-up card?
A3) Globaldosh is available in main retail chain stores and corner stores displaying the Globaldosh logo.

Q4) Where can I spend Globaldosh?
A4) You can spend Globaldosh in all the e-shops listed in our merchant list or any webshop/site displaying the Globaldosh logo. We are always updating our merchant list to give our members more shopping choices. If you want to shop on a website that is not currently enabled, please visit www.gdproxy.com an enabler for GlobalDosh Account-holders

Q5) How much can I keep in the account?
A5) There is a maximum amount you can have in the account for GlobalDosh Account operated within the EU(European Union). The amount is currently equivalent to €150.00 points around 9000GD points. For Account holders outside the EU, please contact your local GlobalDosh operating company in your region.

Q6) How much does it cost to keep the Globaldosh account?
A6) There is no cost to members. You basically exchange your money for Globaldosh in any of the our partnering outlets, load it up and go shopping. The value of your physical cash remains the same on the net.

Q7) Can I close my account at any time and ask for a refund?
A7) You can close your account at anytime. A charge of GD5000 points or 10% of the balance in the account, whichever is greater, will be applied to the account for administrative purposes. And a cheque of the balance will be made payable to the name on the account.

Q8) What currency will I be shopping in?
A8) Details will predominantly be displayed in GD points but you can view in other currencies as you wish. It is our view that shopping should be made easy, hence 1GD point is the same all over the world. 1GD point is equal to UKŁ0.01.

Q9) Can I charge up my account by any other means?
A9) There are various ways in which you can charge your account up. See the current various ways  from the link provided on our homepage.

Q10) Do I receive interest on the balance in my Globaldosh account?
A10) No. Globaldosh account is a membership spending account and does not attract interests on balances.

Q11) Can I use my account from any media?
A11) Yes. You can use your account to shop through any media(mobile phones, hand-held computers, PC etc) as long as the merchant you are dealing with is a Globaldosh-accepting merchant and WAP enabled.

Q12) Can I ask someone else to top up my account?
A12) Yes. All you need to do is give your account number to the individual. Note that disclosure of your account number is at your own discretion. You must not disclose your password under any circumstances.

Q13) Can I use my Globaldosh account from any location?
A13) Yes

Q14) Can I have more than one account?
A14) Yes. Although it is advisable to have only one account as all the related passwords with many accounts may become unmanageable for you.

Q15) What restrictions are built in for control of minors?
A15) Minor Globaldosh accounts cannot be used at designated adult sites or used to purchase designated adult materials.

Q16) Can I transfer GD points from one account to another or to a friend?
A16) As long as all the accounts are Globaldosh accounts, yes you can transfer GD points between accounts.

Q17) Is there a list of retailers that I can obtain Globaldosh voucher from?
A17) Yes. We have a list of retailers on our website.

Q18) What happens if my local store does not stock Globaldosh vouchers?
A18) You can e-mail the detailed address of the store to us at Info@Globaldosh.com and one of our sales representatives will contact them. Otherwise you may consider becoming a Globaldosh agent yourself (see how to become an agent on our homepage).

Q19) What happens if the goods I purchased with my Globaldosh account does not get delivered or is damaged on delivery?
A19) In the first instance, contact the merchant that the goods were purchased from and they will be happy to deal with all queries. If you are not satisfied and you need a refund, send an e-mail, quoting your account number and transaction details, to us at Refunds@Globaldosh.com

Q20) How long does it take to credit my account with the refund?
A20) It takes approximately 48 hours for your account to be credited, if the information requested is sent to us in a timely fashion.

Q21) Can I start shopping globally straight away?
A21) Yes. The global service came into operation in mid-2002. We have already been in contact with major overseas e-retailers and we can promise you that you will receive a global shopping experience that will be second to none.

Q22) When you go global, how am I sure that I will receive the same local standard of service from overseas e-retailers?
A22) All our merchants/retailers have been vetted to the same level and signed up to our customer care policy.
